How to play 5 Lions Megaways

5 Lions Megaways pays in ways rather than fixed lines (Megaways): matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left pay wherever they sit on each reel.

1. Set your bet with the stake control; the bet covers every line or way, so there is nothing else to configure.
2. Spin, or use autoplay with a loss limit.
3. Watch for scatters, which usually start the free spins round.
4. Check the paytable in the game menu: it shows symbol values in coins or in dollars for your current bet.

5 Lions Megaways features and free spins

What happens on the reels in 5 Lions Megaways:

• Wilds with 1x–40x multipliers in the base game
• Bonus for 3+ scatters
• Seven free spins options: up to 25 spins and wilds up to 40x

The free spins round is where 5 Lions Megaways earns its max win, so the base game mostly keeps the balance ticking over between features.

5 Lions Megaways RTP

5 Lions Megaways has a default RTP of 96.50%. Over a very large number of spins, that means C$96.50 returned for every C$100 bet on average; any single session can be far above or below that.

Casinos choose which RTP version to run. Open the game's information or help screen before you play: the RTP is listed there, and it is the figure that applies at that casino.

At 96.50%, 5 Lions Megaways is above the 96% that most players treat as a good benchmark; see more high RTP slots.

Volatility and max win

5 Lions Megaways has high volatility: most spins return little or nothing, and the slot's value sits in rare bonus rounds and big multipliers. Expect long dry runs; size your bets so a session can survive 200 spins or more without a feature.

The maximum win is 5,000x your stake: C$5,000 on a C$1 bet. Some sources quote higher; check the paytable. A max win is a ceiling, not a target; very few sessions get near it.

5 Lions Megaways bonus buy

5 Lions Megaways lets you pay to start the bonus round straight away. The buy does not improve the RTP much, but it concentrates your budget into fewer, bigger outcomes. Availability depends on the casino and the market, and most casinos block bonus buys while you play with bonus money. Compare more bonus buy slots.
