Quick answerAn exclusive casino bonus is an offer a casino creates for one partner site's readers, usually with more spins, a bigger match or lower wagering than the public offer. As of 19 October 2026, North 5 has no exclusive deals live, because none of the offers we were given beats the casino's standard terms. The list above shows the best standard welcome bonuses instead, from the 136 casinos we track, ranked by casino safety.
What is an exclusive casino bonus?
An exclusive bonus is a deal negotiated between a casino and a review or affiliate site. The casino gives the site's readers something the general public does not get, and in return it can track how many players the site sends. The offer is unlocked through the site's link or a dedicated code.
A genuine exclusive bonus is better than the standard offer in at least one way:
- more free spins on the same deposit,
- a higher match or a higher cap,
- lower wagering, or no wagering on part of the offer,
- a no deposit element the public offer does not have,
- a lower minimum deposit to qualify.
If none of these is true, the "exclusive" label is marketing, not value.
Our rules for exclusive bonuses
We publish an exclusive bonus only when:
- its terms are better than the casino's standard offer in at least one of the ways above, and no worse in any other,
- the casino has a safety index of 6.5 or higher on our scoring,
- the offer is available to players outside Ontario and Alberta, where bonus advertising is banned,
- the casino confirms it in writing, and its terms are published on the casino's site.
Each exclusive offer will be shown next to the standard offer, so you can see the difference for yourself. An exclusive deal never changes a casino's score or its position in our rankings.
Why there are no exclusive deals right now
Exclusive deals that we were offered in our 2026 review round either matched the public offer with a different name, or improved one term while worsening another, for example more spins but higher wagering. Neither meets our rules. Rather than relabel standard offers as exclusive, we list the best standard offers instead.

How to tell if an exclusive bonus is really better
Put the exclusive and standard offers side by side and compare:
| Term | Standard offer | "Exclusive" offer | Better? |
|---|
| Match and cap | 100% to C$300 | 100% to C$500 | Only if you deposit over C$300 |
| Free spins | 50 | 100 | Yes, if spin value is the same |
| Wagering | 35× bonus | 40× bonus | No: more betting needed |
| Max cashout | None | C$500 | No: winnings capped |
| Min deposit | C$10 | C$20 | No, for small deposits |
In this example, the "exclusive" offer looks bigger but is worse for most players. Always compare wagering in dollars: our wagering calculator does the maths.
Exclusive bonus warning signs
- The standard offer is hidden, so you cannot compare.
- Higher wagering or a cashout cap that the standard offer does not have.
- A code that only works through one link but gives the same terms as the public page.
- Pressure to sign up quickly because the deal "expires today".
- An unlicensed casino offering unusually large exclusives.
Check the casino's licence before you register; our legit online casinos guide shows how.
Exclusive no deposit bonuses
Exclusive no deposit offers, such as "30 free spins for our readers", are the most common type of exclusive deal in the industry. They are worth having when the spins carry fair wagering and a reasonable cashout cap. Until we have one that meets our rules, the current no deposit offers for Canadian players are listed on our no deposit bonus and free spins no deposit pages.
How to claim an exclusive bonus
When we publish one, the steps will be:
- Open the casino through our "Get bonus" button, which tracks the offer to you.
- Register with details that match your ID.
- Enter the exclusive code if one is shown, at sign-up or at the cashier.
- Deposit the qualifying amount, if needed, with an eligible method.
- Check the bonus in your account before you play; if it is missing, contact support straight away.
Do affiliate links affect what you get?
Using our link does not change the casino's terms for you, apart from exclusive offers that are tracked to it. It does mean we may earn a commission, which never affects our scores or rankings. Our scoring method explains how casinos are rated, and the about page explains how North 5 is funded.
Exclusive bonuses in Ontario and Alberta
Exclusive offers cannot be advertised in Ontario or Alberta, where public bonus advertising is banned. Players there should choose from the registered sites on our Ontario online casinos and Alberta online casinos lists.
Exclusive vs standard vs no bonus
| Exclusive bonus | Standard bonus | No bonus |
|---|
| Where you get it | One partner site | Casino's own site | Any time |
| Terms | Should be better than standard | Public | No wagering, no max bet |
| Tracking | Partner link or code | None | None |
| Best for | Players who compare carefully | Most players | Fast withdrawals, live games |
Playing with no bonus is a valid choice too. If you want to withdraw quickly or play live dealer games, skipping the bonus is often better than any exclusive deal. See fast payout casinos for casinos that pay quickly.
Why casinos offer exclusive bonuses
Casinos pay for new players, through advertising or through commission to partner sites. An exclusive offer lets a casino measure which partners send players who stay, and lets a partner give its readers something different. That is why exclusive deals are common in competitive markets like Canada, and why they need to be checked: the incentive is to make an offer look better, not necessarily to make it better.
What makes a good exclusive bonus?
The best exclusive offers we have seen elsewhere share three features: the wagering is the same or lower than the public offer, there is no new cashout cap, and the extra value is easy to see, such as 50 more spins on the same deposit. If an exclusive offer needs a long explanation to show why it is better, it usually is not.
