Quick answerA casino bonus code is a short word or number you enter at sign-up or at the cashier to unlock a specific offer. As of 19 October 2026, most welcome bonuses at the 136 casinos on our list need no code at all: you opt in at the cashier. This page lists the 7 offers where a code or a sign-up step matters, mainly no deposit bonuses, and explains where codes go and how to spot fake ones.

What is a casino bonus code?
A bonus code, also called a promo code or coupon code, is a short text string, such as WELCOME100, that links a bonus to your account. Casinos use codes to:
- run several offers at once and let you pick one,
- track which partner site or campaign sent you,
- give existing players targeted offers by email,
- limit an offer to people who know the code.
When a bonus needs a code and you do not enter it, the casino usually cannot add the bonus afterwards. When a bonus needs no code, entering one is harmless but unnecessary.

The "Bonus code" line on each card shows whether a code is needed. "None listed" means the casino applies the standard offer when you opt in, without a code.
Do I need a bonus code in Canada?
Usually not. At most of the casinos we review, the welcome bonus is applied by ticking a box at the cashier, or automatically on your first deposit. Codes are more common for:
- No deposit bonuses: free spins or chips that would otherwise be claimed by everyone who registers.
- Weekly promotions: reload codes published on the promotions page.
- Existing player offers: personal codes sent by email or SMS.
- Partner offers: deals arranged with a specific site.
On our list, LuckyWins' Monday free spins need a promo code from its promotions page; the other no deposit offers listed here are credited after registration. Browse every no deposit bonus for the full terms.
Where to enter a casino bonus code
| When | Where | Typical offers |
|---|
| At registration | "Promo code" field on the sign-up form | No deposit bonuses, partner deals |
| At deposit | "Bonus code" field in the cashier | Welcome and reload bonuses |
| Any time | Promotions or "Redeem code" page in your account | Free spins, free chips |
| By chat | Ask live support to apply it | When the field is missing |
Enter the code exactly as written, check whether it is case-sensitive, and enter it before you complete the deposit.
No deposit bonus codes in Canada
"No deposit bonus codes Canada" is one of the most searched bonus phrases, with variations for every amount from $10 to $200 and for each year. Most of the codes listed on large code directories are:
- expired: no deposit codes often run for days or weeks,
- regional: valid in other countries but not in Canada,
- for other casino networks, such as RTG sites, with very high wagering and low cashout caps,
- fake: invented to attract clicks.
We list a no deposit offer only when we can see it on the casino's own promotions page for Canadian players, and we remove it when it ends. The current offers are in the cards above and on our free spins no deposit page.
Bonus codes for existing players
Existing-player codes are the hardest to find, because casinos send them privately. The reliable sources are:
- your account's promotions or inbox page,
- emails and SMS from the casino, if you have opted in,
- the casino's VIP manager, for VIP players,
- weekly reload announcements on the promotions page.
Codes for existing players posted on forums are often tied to someone else's account and will not work for you. For ongoing offers that need no code, see reload bonuses and cashback.
How we check bonus codes
- We read the casino's promotions page and bonus terms for Canadian players.
- We record whether the offer needs a code, and where it is entered.
- We update offers when casinos change them and remove codes that no longer appear in the casino's terms.
- We never publish codes copied from other sites without seeing them at the source.
If a code on this page does not work, contact the casino's support before depositing, and tell us so we can update the page.
Why a bonus code might not work
- Expired: the offer has ended or changed.
- Wrong step: the code had to be entered at sign-up, not at deposit.
- Already used: one code per person or household.
- Not valid in your province: Ontario and Alberta players cannot receive publicly advertised offers.
- Excluded payment method: some codes do not work with Skrill, Neteller or prepaid cards.
- Minimum deposit not met.
Bonus code terms to check
A code only unlocks the offer; the usual bonus terms still apply. Check the wagering, max bet, expiry, eligible games and max cashout before you enter it. Our wagering calculator shows what any coded offer really requires, and the wagering requirements guide explains each term.
Exclusive bonus codes
Some sites advertise "exclusive codes" with better terms. A genuine exclusive code must be set up with the casino, which tracks it to the site. We do not have any exclusive codes live at the moment; when we do, they will appear on our exclusive bonuses page with the standard offer shown next to them for comparison.
Bonus codes in Ontario and Alberta
Publicly advertised bonus codes are not allowed in Ontario and Alberta. Registered sites may send codes to account holders who have opted in. See Ontario online casinos.
Safety: avoid code scams
Never pay for a bonus code, never give your login details to anyone offering codes, and never download software to "generate" codes. Real casino codes are free and are always published by the casino or its partners. Our legit online casinos guide explains how to check a casino before you sign up.
| Code type | What it unlocks | Typical source |
|---|
| Welcome code | A specific first deposit offer | Casino's sign-up page |
| No deposit code | Free spins or a free chip | Promotions page, partner sites |
| Reload code | A weekly or weekend deposit bonus | Promotions page, email |
| Free spins code | A batch of spins on a named slot | Email, SMS, promotions page |
| VIP code | A personal reload or cashback boost | VIP manager |
| Birthday code | A gift in your birthday month | Email |
The welcome and no deposit codes are public; the others are usually personal and only work on your account.
Tips for using bonus codes
- Read the offer terms first, because a code does not change the wagering.
- Copy and paste the code to avoid typos.
- Enter it before you deposit, and check the bonus appears before you play.
- Keep a screenshot of the offer and the code in case of a dispute.
- Do not use several codes at once: most casinos allow one active bonus.
